Recognize safety symbols, words and labels Safety items throughout this manual are labeled with a WARNING or CAUTION based on the risk type as described below: Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. [. . . ] Drying times from 15 to 90 minutes are available in 15-minute increments. You will not be able to select a dryness level. 6 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Cycle Settings For best results Follow the fabric care label instructions on items to be dried. Appropriate dryness level and options will automatically be displayed for each cycle. If changes are attempted after the cycle starts, the lights will blink and the signal will beep. Drying Temperature Turn the temp knob until the desired drying temperature is selected. If the drying temperature is not appropriate for that cycle, the status lights will blink and the signal will beep 3 times. To protect your fabrics, not all temperatures are available with every cycle. NOTE To change the dryness level once the cycle has begun, press the pause/cancel button once, make the new selection and press START again. Occasionally a load may seem too damp or over-dried at the end of the cycle. Select damp for items you wish to partially dry before hanging or ironing. Options To select an option, press options until the indicator for the desired option flashes, then press select. If an option is not available for a cycle, the indicator will not light. Follow the same steps to delete an option. NOTE To change the temperature once the cycle has begun, press the pause/cancel button once, make the new selection and press START again. normal Recommended for wrinkle free, easy care, lightweight fabrics and bulky loads. air dry This setting (no heat) should only be used with a Timed Dry cycle to dry items containing feathers, down, foam rubber, plastics or rubber-like materials; to refresh clothing, stuffed animal, pillows or blankets; and to dust draperies. Dryness Level (Auto Dry) To change the preset level, press the dryness button to scroll to the degree of dryness desired. To protect your fabrics, not all dryness levels are available with every cycle. If a dryness level is not appropriate for the cycle, it cannot be selected. The dryness level selected for the cycle will be remembered and recalled each time that cycle is selected in the future. To return to factory settings, press the pause/cancel and select buttons at the same time and hold until the signal sounds. NOTE To change the option once the cycle has begun, press the pause/cancel button once, make the new selection and press START again. wrinkle release Select wrinkle release if the dried load might not be removed promptly at the end of the cycle. For one year from your original date of purchase, Electrolux will pay all costs for repairing or replacing any parts of this appliance that prove to be defective in materials or workmanship when such appliance is installed, used and maintained in accordance with the provided instructions.
